| the dora talking alarm clock is a fantastic addition to any kids room. it not only talks but has a radio and it is easy for any child to set on their own. my 7 year old has dora everything and she still spends hours listening to her dora alarm clock. it gets her up for school and cheerleading on weekends. she says every girl that likes dora needs this talking alrm clock so go buy one today. they are not expensive compared to other charachter room decor. |

| This item is eye catching and fun. It's simplicity is relieving especially if you have a child that wants to do everything for themselves. I'd recommend any Dora fan to get this clock to brighten up their rooms. |

| My daughter loves it we really did not get it for the alarm because she is only four but when she starts school we will use it It a great gift and looks great in her bedroom. |
A little too loud, but better than radio

| I needed an alarm clock that would wake up my four year old and make her smile. Since she loves Dora, I thought this would be perfect - hearing Dora's voice saying "Vamonos" is much better than Mommy saying "time to get up". The problem I have with this clock is that the Dora wake up call is very loud - it actually scares my daughter when it goes off! The volume dial only controls the radio, it does not control "Dora". We've taped something over the speaker in the back to quiet it down, but it is still very loud. |

| We bought this alarm clock for our daughter specifically because it was supposed to be a "talking" Dora alarm clock where Dora talks to you to wake you up (as opposed to waking to the radio). Dora doesn't talk, she shouts! The volume in the "Dora" mode is so high that we would have to put the alarm clock in the next room in order to avoid scaring her out of her sleep. There is no volume control in the Dora mode, only in the alternative radio mode. If we had wanted a regular radio alarm clock, we would have opted for the regular $5 version! |
