This is a very nice full recast of the old Lost World "Bull T-rex" from the second movie but they made some useful changes to the mold and re-released it as a Toys R Us Exclusive! Hint hint, that means if you get one here it's from a reseller and may be marked up a bit.

First off he's very sturdy, very large, and very noisy! With an easy flip switch for on/off/try me modes, he makes noise when you bounce him on the floor and when you press the button on the back (both stomping sounds and multiple roars). His head and tail are a softer rubber like material while his body and legs are a harder plastic. His mouth can open and the generic looking soldier guy can fit right in for tasty people-eating action, but you have to pull him back out the mouth.

My complaints are few as this is a pretty darn cool toy for fans of the movie or for kids.
For one, the eyes have painted on pupils instead of molded ones like the old dinos used to have. Another joint in the leg at the knee would be nice, and the gun that the soldier has looks rather like it fires a plunger (barely fires at that). A convincing looking tranquilizer gun would have been better. :D

Overall this is a great looking toy, and a lot of fun! But be careful what you pay for him.
