This is a great learning tool for pre-schoolers and older. Games are designed with fun and education in mind. My son and I are happy with this product.

We bought this for our kindergartener, who very much wanted his own handheld so he could be just like his 10-year-old brother. I briefly considered getting him a Nintendo DS but there weren't enough learning titles, so I decided to revisit the Leap Frog family of products. This had everything I was looking for in a portable game system for my 5 year old: handheld styling, the appeal of one of his favorite shows, and solid learning-based fun. All he knows is that he's having a great time and he's very proud to show off his new math skills as he masters an area of the game.

My son and this leapster 2 cannot be seperated! He loves the fact that it is not the "normal" one and that it is different! The game it came with is really educational and he is quickly learning how to do math!
Great toy for preschool/kindergartener

I bought this for my 4-yr-old son. He loves it. We were afraid the game might be too difficult, but he caught on quickly. Just like I read in other reviews, he is learning his numbers and basic math, but thinks he is playing a game.

I got this for my 4-year old son for Christmas along with 4 other games. It is now 5 days after Christmas and he has still not put it down! He loves it. I would definitely recommend getting the recharging station. I haven't bought one yet and have already replaced the batteries once.
